KKU Honors its Outstanding Students Participations in Sports Activities
His Excellency King Khalid University President, Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami,
on Monday, November 14th, honored the university's outstanding students who
achieved leading positions in competition across Saudi universities.
In the honoring ceremony "Ikhtraq Al-Dahyah" team was recognized for coming in 2nd
place in in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation (SUSF) Championship in Jizan
University. In addition to recognizing the silver medal winner in the SUSF
Taekwondo Tournament – 64KG category and the female winners of 1st place in
SUSF competitions: mainly in the initiatives and volunteering activities of sports and
academic fields.
His Excellency commended the students’ achievements, which in return reflects their
ability to compete effectively. He also encouraged the winners to put more effort into
future competitions.
It is worth noting that the honoring ceremony was attended by the Dean of the
Student Affairs Deanship, Dr. Ali A-Bassami alongside the Vice-Dean of the Female
Student Affairs Deanship, Dr. Abeer Al-Muhaylib.
