The University Holds a Series of Events to Celebrate the Kingdom’s 92nd National Day

On the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 92nd national anniversary King Khalid University holds a series of events to celebrate the occasion. With the participation of the university entities the events programs are to be held between the 25th and 29th of September.

To kick off its national celebration the university holds its main event Aldaar celebration at the university city in Al-Qara'a on Sunday evening. Correspondingly, the female campus in Greger will be holding “Our Country, Our Pride” ceremony, while the university’s Tihama branch will also be holding a program to celebrate the occasion.

The events agenda include a variety of assemblies and seminars, among which are the “Glory and Unity of the Kingdom “assembly, the “National Day: History and Future Prospects,” assembly, “Home of Honour and Pride,” seminar “the 92nd National Day " seminar, and the "Identity and Affiliation in Saudi Literature" seminar, in addition, to a fine arts exhibition entitled “An Ambitious Nation, the Artist’s Vision,” and a cultural program entitled “A Nation We Live in and Lives in Us”.

 Furthermore, the university will host a special program for scholarship students entitled “Guests of the Nation, among other programs including, “Letters for the Nation”, “Spirit of Leadership and Sovereignty”, "Blessed Country", as well as a lecture on "Volunteer Work and its National Importance’. The university will also hold interactive activities  allowing students and university members an opportunity to express their feelings and engage in celebrating the occasion. The activities  include a wall mural, a National Day League, the “Nafdeek Ya Watani” painting, the “Flourishing Country “ program, the “National Day in Sign Language activity and a local bazaar.
