In it's Twelfth Meeting the University Council Forms Ten Committees to Execute Council of Universities Affairs Decisions
On behalf of his Excellency the Minister of Education His Excellency King Khalid University President Prof. Falleh bin Rajallah Al Solami chaired the twelfth university council meeting for the the academic year 1443Ah. The meeting was held in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and council members.
The university vice president of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Prof. Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions in their regard.
Al-Qarni added that one of the most prominent recommendations taken by the council is the formation of a number of committees specialized in implementing the decisions of the University Affairs Council lead by His Excellency the President of the University. In addition to approving the admission plan for various faculties of the university in light of the decisions of the Council of Universities Affairs, and approving the proposed plan to accelerate the graduation of university students in various disciplines. .
The council also recommended approving the exemption and acceleration mechanism for outstanding students in general English language courses, in addition to a number of issues related to the assignment and appointment of some faculty members.
