A number of female leaders, faculty members and employees at King Khalid University, expressed  their appreciation  and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty  King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Royal Highness  Crown Prince Prince Muhammad bin Salman, for the appreciation the women have received in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the decisions and procedures, which aimed to empower Saudi women. 

Gratitude and Appreciation 

The Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Kholoud Saad Abu Malha, affirmed that ‘’ this event is an inspiring event for Saudi women and an opportunity  to enhance their role in the prosperity of our homeland and pave their path in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

Pride

The Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Mahayel Asir, Dr. Noura Hussein Banafa, said on the occasion  “I am  proud that I am a Saudi woman standing side by side with her male colleagues in this  country , whose history has witnessed the keen  development of the role of  Saudi women in all areas of life. 

Participation and Support

The Vice President of the Community College in Khamis Mushait, Dr. Amal Hussein Al Mushait, said ‘’ the eighth of March is a celebration of International Women's Day held to signify respect, appreciation and love for women for their various achievements’’

Passion and Empowerment 

The Vice-Dean of the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Fatima Ali Al-Zahrani, said  "Since the era of the founder, King Abdulaziz  and until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud  women  have received  empowerment and care, adding that  the  national 2030 vision is an ambitious opportunity for Saudi women.  

Glory

The Director of the Media and Communication Department at the General Administration of Media and Relations at the University, Prof. Sarah Muhammad Al-Qahtani, confirmed that ‘’during the reign of King Salman and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them - Saudi women gained a prominent position locally and internationally that reflects Saudi Arabia’s vision’’

Collaboration  and Attendance 

The head of the Information Technology and Media Unit at the Center for Creativity and Entrepreneurship, Mrs. Aisha Musa Al-Shahrani, confirmed that ‘’the world celebrates International Women's Day annually and the role women play in various fields that are compatible with our society and the changes of the era, adding that Saudi women have emerged by achieving many achievements and overcoming many obstacles that  faced them’’
