The University Rector launching Minhaj system

His Excellency, King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Faleh bin Reja Allah Al-Solami,launching  the electronic approval system for academic plans and programs, "Minhaj", in the presence of Prof. Saad bin Mohammad bin Dejem, Vice Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Adwaa Bint Ali Al-Ahmari, supervisor of the Curriculum and Plans Unit, Dr. Mohammad Al-Saqer,  CEO of IT administration , and a number of employees of the two sides.

The University Rector welcomed the attendees, praising this system, which will serve the plans and programs of all the colleges and their departments, thanking everyone’s efforts who contributed in working on this system.

Prof. Saad bin Dejem, affirmed the agency’s keenness to implement Minhaj system according to its strategic plan and activating it through present the system that characterized to facilite and control the procedural and administrative process in approving academic plans and programs, pointing out that “Minhaj” is compatibility with the latest models of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission 2020.  

Ibn Dejem also thanked the University Rector for his support  in everything that keeping  the university’s development and progress and its programs, extending his thanks to the Curricula and Plans Unit and the IT administration for implementing "Minhaj" system in short time.

Dr. Adhwaa Al-Ahmari stated that "Minhaj " system is representing King Khalid University's response to the most important basics of the new university system, such as the digital transformation of the process of reviewing and approving academic plans and programs, she also noting that the most prominent features of the system are focused on electronic archiving of study plans and programs in different versions, in addition to the transparency in reviewing and approving study programs between committees and councils, up to the University Council.

Dr. Al-Saqr says:” information technology has worked and is working on automating many systems that will take the university into an advanced levels and to meet the Kingdom's Vision 2030 vision, in order to build a scientific society with high efficiency”.

The University Agency for Educational and Academic Affairs has also released an instruction manual for colleges about the system, directing Colleges and departments to start working with the system by entering study plans for review and approval by the owners, the system is also distinguished by being available in both Arabic and English according to the nature of the programs.
