More than 11 thousand virtual sessions on the seventh week

The Deanship of e-learning at King Khalid University continues to offer its electronic services. The Deanship’s statistics for the seventh week of the academic year 1442, showed 11710 virtual sessions and 11456 recorded lecture.

The e-learning Dean Dr. Naif Jabali explained the Deanship offered a number of training courses for faculty members which benefited 690 people. These courses included a lecture to introduce ConnectYard, a course in designing affective online tests through Blackboard, and a course on professionally hosting a Zoom Meeting. The Deanship also organized a lecture entitled “How to Start in Cyber Security” which benefited 415 people.

The Deanship also offered three guidance infographics for students and faculty members, and a guidance booklet for faculty members. Tamkeen’s YouTube channel had 127636 views since the beginning of the first week, a total of 3808.2 hours.

It’s worth mentioning the Deanship offered during the seventh week technical support services, 118 of which were through the phone, 389 through the What’s App, 20 emails and 14 through the Deanship’s office. 67% of these services were for faculty members and 33% for students. Technical support services were delivered through Zoom and LiveChat.
