University Council approves the Higher Diploma in Governance
On behalf of the Minister of Education, His Excellency King Khalid University Rector Prof. Faleh bin Reja Allah Al-Solami chaired the third online meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1442 AH, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, Secretary General of the University Affairs Council, the University Council members.
Prof. Saad bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Amari, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and Secretary of the Council, explained that the council discussed a number of topics and recommendations; including the recommendation to extend the mandate and loan a number of university employees to external entities,and the recommendation to allocate the donation of the Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Jomaih Charitable Foundation to support students of community colleges at the university instead of supporting the Student Clubs Forum for Saudi Universities because it cannot be held during Corona pandemic, and the Council also recommended approving the approval of the Higher Diploma in Governance Program in the Accounting Department of the College of Business.
