The Medicine and Talent Club at the College of Medicine recently carried out a 2020 Pre-Clinical Course, which aimed to prepare and train medical students in the clinical environment's final levels. The course was a 10-day course that started on the 15th and continued to the 24th of August 2020. The course included an introduction to professional ethics and the basics of reading X-Ray films.

Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Suleiman Al-Humayed, explained that the course — in its fifth edition — consists of a theoretical and practical part. "One of the main aspects of the course is teaching students the most prominent skills required to take the pathological history of the patient and identify the symptoms in the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, nervous, endocrine, and rheumatic systems," he concluded. Medicine and Talent Club Head, Dr. Waddah Al-Alami, also explained that the club held a Twitter competition that tested knowledge throughout the course.

Of note, the course hosted several outstanding doctors and served more than 230 students.
