The branch of King Khalid University in Tuhama is announcing the beginning of receiving beneficiaries from the governorates, centers and villages of Tuhama who wish to get the vaccine against Covid-19. They can take the vaccine at the Vaccination Center, Male Community College, in Muhayel Assir Governorate. The Center was recently inaugurated in cooperation with the University Medical City to serve the university’s employees, public education students.

Equipping and providing services at the center comes under the university’s role in serving its community, in addition to enhancing ways of fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

In this regard, the general supervisor of Tuhama Branch, Dr. Ahmed Atef Al Shehri, praised the efforts of His Excellency, the Rector of University Prof. Falah bin Raja Allah Al Solamy, in providing and preparing the center to contribute to the immunization and protection of the Tuhama community. He also extended his gratitude to those in charge of the center from the University Medical City, and to the technical departments of the branch represented by: Department of Medical Services, Operation and Maintenance Department, and Information and Technology Department. He concluded with stressing on the importance of immunization before the date 22^nd of Dhul-Hijjah for a safe return to study seats.

In more details about the center working hours, the Director of Outpatient Clinics in the branch, Fayez Asiri, explained that the beneficiaries can come to the center in two shift as following:

1. Morning shift (09:00 am – 12:00 pm), which will be allocated to the branch’s employees and students.
2. Evening Shift (04:00 pm – 08:00 pm) which will be allocated to Public education employees and students in the villages and governorates of Tuhama.
