Saudi Ambassador to United Kingdom visits the University pavilion on Career Day in London.

King Khalid University pavilion, which is one of the participating teams in the 5th Career Day that was held in London from 21 to 22 / 3 / 2015 AD, received interest and follow-up of the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz. His Highness, the ambassador paid a visit to the pavilion during the opening of the exhibition, where he was briefed on the services provided by the university. In addition, he listened to a detailed explanation presented by the University Vice - President for Academic and Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassoun. The presentation was about the job opportunities provided for the graduates, in addition to displaying the most important achievements of the university and the status of the scientific, research, and community services the institution provides.

Moreover, His Royal Highness the Ambassador checked the workflow in the pavilion through the reception of job applications that targeted outstanding scholars. Works were performed through several committees: job applications reception Committee, receiving and filling applicants' files committee, and personal interviews committee. All terms and condition were restricted to the university rules which were set in advance.

The participation of the University came under the directives of the Rector Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Dawood. He - the Rector - has earlier advised for the activation of Estektab (Attraction System), which aims at attracting distinguished academicians to the university, and also as a means to benefit from the output of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Scholarship Program, with the opportunity for the youth of the country to contribute to the development and construction of this generous country.

It is noteworthy that the 5th Career Day has been held on the sidelines of the graduation ceremony of the fifth batch of students of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in London. There are more than 3,300 students pursuing various academic degrees in different specialties. Moreover, the 5th Career Day witnessed the participation of more than 70 exhibitors from various sectors: ministries, universities, banks, and private companies.
