The University Council Holds its First Meeting for the Academic year 1443
On behalf of His Excellency the Minister of Education, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Al-Solami, chaired , the (first) meeting of the University Council for the academic year 1443, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council for Universities Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and the Council members
The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research - Secretary of the University Council - Dr. Hamid bin Majdoua Al-Qarni, explained that the council reviewed the topics on the agenda and took the necessary decisions in their regard.
Al-Qarni, added that one of the most prominent recommendations made by the Council is the approval of the rules governing the intellectual awareness unit at King Khalid University and its executive procedures, the approval of the proposal for executive alignment between the university’s strategy 2030 and the strategy of the Asir region, in addition to appointment decisions, delegation and transfer of some faculty members.
