Meeting the Dean of Admission Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Qarni

The Dean of Admission at King Khalid University, Dr. Abdulmohsen bin Eid Al-Qarni, said that the university is preparing to accept more than 12,000 male and female students for the academic year 1443 AH, stressing that the deanship has prepared  the admissions processes to achieve excellence through  all  its services, and to upgrade admission and registration mechanisms according to the latest regulations and  modern technology.

 

Al-Qarni explained that admissions to the university is through the university electronic admission “portal academic", stressing that acceptance will depend on required GPA ’s and admission percentages  approved for each field of study,  and according to the applicant's  desired fields. Al-Qarni  also indicated that the university does not determine acceptance rates before the admission process, but rather based acceptance on the number of available seats , stressing that often fields and specializations are  closed at high rates compared to many universities, due to the large  number of applicants applying to  King Khalid University.

 

In an interview with Dr. Abdulmohsen bin Eid Al-Qarni, the media and communications department  Al Qarni addressed a number of issues , most prominently was the admission process and the university’s effort towards offering a fair opportunity for all students.

 

It’s worth noting that Al Qarni highlighted the importance of choosing  suitable fields  when applying to university , adding that this critical period will determine  students  university experience.
