University President: Deanship of Personnel is the backbone of Saudi universities.

Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, King Khalid University President, showed the importance of the works of the Deanship of Personnel, describing it as the backbone of the university. The Deanship is trying to raise the standard of performance through studying ideas and common experiences, and through promoting the concept of "Educated System" among universities. The deanship seeks to benefit from the successful interchangeable experiences, so as to exchange experiences among universities, and develop interest among professionals and those interested in related topics.

The assertion was made during His Excellency, the University President's opening of the sessions of the second meeting of Deans of faculties and staff members of Saudi universities. The President indicated the importance of that meeting, whose aim was to exchange and transfer experiences among the Saudi universities, and to benefit from the successful experiences for the benefit of specialists and other beneficiaries in that sector.

Concluding his speech, Aldawood urged the attendees to come up with recommendations to serve as a breakthrough for the future, which include the exchange of experiences and information, and to coordinate their positions to facilitate and improve their work in a way to serve their universities and the country.

After that address, the first session began. It was headed by the King Khalid University Vice - President for Development and Quality, Dr. Ahmed Aljbaili. The session addressed the issue of electronic transactions for faculty and staff members. It was presented by the Deputy Director General of Personnel of King Abdul Aziz University, Faisal Alkahila. Then, came the second presentation delivered by Musharraf bin Ahmed Al-Zahrani who is from the University of Salman bin Abdul Aziz. His presentation contained suggestion for the use of human performance technology in the Deanship faculty, and staff members of Saudi universities. The final presentation of this session was a paper entitled "Electronic Services at King Khalid University: Realities and aspirations of the future. It was delivered by the Director of the electronic transaction management of King Khalid University - Ali Jovan. After the paper, there was an open discussion about the axis.

The second session was headed by the Dean of Personnel at the University of Dammam, Dr. Mohammad Masood. The attendees addressed the main issue of the session, which was the regulations and criteria for the granting of incentives, excellence allowances and the exceptional increases for faculty members (the Saudis and those on contract). Also discussed was the variation in the exchange bonuses among Saudi universities. The issue was submitted by the Dean of faculty and staff at the University of Al-Jawf, Dr. Faisal Ruwaished
