The University President: earlier, we terminated contracts of 11 unfit members of the faculty staff.

The Student Supreme Committee of King Khalid University has yesterday, made its first periodic meeting for the current academic year under the presidency of His Excellency the President of the Student Supreme Committee, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood. The President explained that the basis of the work of the university and its development depended largely on the suggestions, and the requirements of the representatives of the colleges in the Committee.

The Committee raised a number of issues and requirements for discussion at the level of boys and girls colleges in different branches of the university, which he, the President promised to solve soon according to their priorities. He also explained that due to the meetings of the Committee, a number of resolutions that were essential in the running of the university, were approved.

He also explained that the main purpose of the meeting was the production and delivery, and he confirmed that the Committee contributed, through previous meetings, in resolving many of the important topics that were directed mainly to the student's interests. He said, "The Committee has worked out more than 24 issues through its previous meetings, in addition to terminating 11 contracts of unfit faculty members, thanks to the efforts of representatives of the colleges."

Aldawood deplored the false perception the university is being exposed to in a number of social networking sites. He said, "I track the requirements of students with interest, and I welcome any objective purposeful criticism. It is our duty to work hand in hand to improve the image of the university in the society."

It is noteworthy that the meeting witnessed the attendance of the Secretary of the Committee who is also the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merra'e Al-Habash, and a number of the Committee members.
