University Dentistry College organizes entertaining program for orphans.

Under the auspices of his Excellency the University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, and with the attendance of the University Vice -President for Health Affairs, Prof. Khalid Saad Aljelban, Dentistry College, represented by the students' Club - male and female students - organized awareness and entertaining program for the orphans of Abha Social Education House. The program was carried out on Friday 23/11/1435 AH and on Monday 26/11/1435 AH.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Suliman Al-Shahrani stated that the program was launched in the female sections on Friday 23/11/1435 AH, and in the male sections on the fourth day - Monday 26/11/1435 AH. He pointed out that 150 students participated in the program under the supervision of the Faculty members from the College, and 100 children benefited from the program.

Al-Shahrani said, "The cultural, awareness, and entertaining program for the orphans of Abha Education House is considered the cornerstone of health awareness, particularly for children who are the core of interest because they are the future and the main stone in societal development. Through such programs, we could raise the children's awareness culturally, scientifically, and health wise, in addition to including them in societal activities to be ready for a better life and promising future."

He continued, "Taking care of orphans has great importance because they are a special class in the community, which needs educational, psychological, and social care to be able to contribute meaningfully in the community. Dentistry College is launching many initiatives, events, and social activities in pursuit of achieving the principle of the social responsibility shouldered on it as a unique educational service edifice."

Al-Shahrani concluded his speech and said, "We are all proud of serving our dear country, and its individuals. We pray for God to support us in this service."
