University Bisha branch provides 40 electronic appliances to all faculties of the branch: Bisha Academic Complex, girls' colleges, and in the provinces of Tathleeth, Balgarn, and Al-Namas. The aim of providing the items is to give the students the opportunity for self-service.

The General Supervisor of the branch, Dr. Mahdi bin Ali Al-Qarni, stated that those devices were being provided for the first time in the Saudi universities, and that "we aim to provide immediate services for our students to facilitate any academic transactions that link them with the university. He added that among the electronic services offered to students (through their academic numbers) by these devices are Printing students' forms, study timetables, reduction request for the Saudi Arabian Airlines, the ability to have a look on the student's account, and the organization of their Academic processes, in addition to informing the students on their quarterly results.
