Dentistry College of King Khalid University has treated 1275 cases in the college clinics. The cases were treated for the first time during the last summer in order to strengthen the role of the university in reviving the summer season in Abha, in addition to achieving the university's goal towards the provision of community services. The clinics were fully operative from 8.00 O'clock a.m. to 5.00 O'clock p.m, since the end of the second semester of the last academic year until the beginning of the new academic year.
Throughout the operational period of the clinics, the College was looking forward to increasing the number of faculty supervisors on intern doctors of various specializations. The college also wanted an increase in the number of nurses, technicians, radiologist, and the number of receptionists - males and females - in order to attend to the increasing number of patients, without delay. Additionally, the plant production and fixtures lab will be operating at full capacity until they cover all specializations needed by patients.
On this issue, the President of the university, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, has appreciated the effort of the college and its hard working employees. He said, "I thank all my colleagues in the Faculty of Dentistry - the Dean and the faculty members, doctors and workers - on your blessed efforts, and we are all looking forward for more excellence in the coming days."
