Launching "Homeland Culture" convoy.

His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Daoud has believed that the development milestones that are obvious in every inch of our dear country, no doubt, tell a story of progress, giving, and construction of solid prosperous future for generations, being pursued by great leaders and patriot citizen; stating that "our blesses are countless".

Al- Daoud, made this declaration during the launching of the "Homeland Culture" convoy at the campus of the University City in Abha, explaining that the features of the National Day were drawn by the kings of this country, starting from the commander, and the founder of the Kingdom, King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman moving forward to the kings of this state: King Saud, King Faisal, King Khalid and King Fahd, and now reaching the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. The story of establishment of the Kingdom is an inspiring one to the whole generations, and it is a story of reunion, security, unification of the word, the establishment of a country that believes in God, and which is armed with pure doctrine of science and knowledge, leading to the people's standards of living becoming more flourished.

On this historic occasion, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merra bin Saeed Al-Habash informed that the convoy of " Homeland Culture" will provide many shows, historical and cultural competitions, which aim at educating young people through a review of the most important achievements of the country. He stated further that, 4 cars, decorated with the logo of the country and the University will be displayed. Al-Habash continued, "The convoy will conduct two events; first, holding "Homeland Culture" Competition to promote the culture of the state, and distribute prizes on which is inscribed the logo to the winners among the participants in the competition. The questions of competition are those related to the country and its history and destiny. Secondly, the distribution of white roses with small cards, on which will be inscribed some advice and directives on how to behave during the celebration. The advice also will call on the participants to maintain the prestige of the occasion, and will also address, with short messages, the unusual behavior that might affect the delight of the occasion.

Finally, the attendees listened to a poem delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Adel Al-Hazzani, in which he expressed his pride and great delight on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pointing at honest features of this anniversary and what it reflects of the citizen's patriotism to this blessed country, as a result of civilization, development and progress.
