King Khalid University President Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al –Dawoud launched the official website of the International Conference for Media and Rumor- Social Dangers and ways of confrontation, at the University City. It is organized by the university from 19 to 21 The Al-Qedah, corresponding 14 to 16 September 2014 in the presence of members of the Organizational and Media Committee.

The Chairman of the Media Committee, Mr. Yazeed Al-Jasser shows the features and contents that are included in the Site. Moreover, he gave a detailed explanation of the services that are currently provided by the center and during the conference.

The Site will provide, in the coming weeks the new activities for the conference, including the most prominent participants and their resumes. Additionally, the site will make a live broadcast to the conference and will display photos and videos.

On the other hand, the President of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, the Head of the Department of Media and Communication, Prof. Ali Bin Shuweil Al-Qarni confirmed that the Committee has received about 400 participations from various countries around the world as well as various participations from inside the Kingdom. The Committee currently sorts the requests of participations and chooses the best ones to be included in the researches and the scientific papers of the conference.

The Committee is also still receiving research summaries for local participations until 10 Shabban 1435 AH.
