King Khalid University President launches events of health, awareness and educational program at Tathleeth

On behalf of the Prince of Asir region, Prince Faisal Bin Khalid, His Excellency the President of King Khalid University Prof. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al Dawood inaugurated the events of the second health, awareness and educational program. The university hosted the program at Tathleeth region and it will be held over 5 days.
The inauguration ceremony started by reciting verses from the Holy Quran followed by the word of the organizing committee by the President of the Commission, the Vice-President, Prof. Marei Bin Hussein Al-Qahtani. He, in his word, clarified the instructions of the President of the university, the General Supervisor of the program, to present all the events in the best way to serve the people of Tathleeth.
Mari clarified that through the surveys and studies, the urgent need of Tathleeth province to establish such a program became clear to increase awareness. He said, "Accordingly, we held the program which consisting of 202 people and the total number of educational activities reaches (194) varied between awareness, medical, and educational in addition to legitimacy and training courses.
In this regard, the Governor of Tathleeth region, Saad Bin Zmia thanked King Khalid University represented by the President. He said, "Organizing such an event would have a positive impact on the province," he added," This program is one of the leading programs that contribute to educate and raise awareness of the people of Tathleeth and we hope everyone could benefit establishing such educational activities-God willing.
After that, HE the Director of King Khalid University, Dr. Abdul Rahman Bin Hamad Al-Dawood gave a word in which he transferred the greetings of the Prince of Asir Region, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Khaled, who sponsors this program. Al-Dawood said, " community service is the third pillar upon which the university stands," stressing that the university will spare no effort to continue its mission to provide the necessary services to educate and raise awareness for the sake of this dear country .
His Excellency also congratulated everyone on the resolution of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him – to establish the University of Bisha, which will include the college of the Tathleeth province within the colleges of this university. He added, "I think the province is worth more than a college and we try to achieve this soon, God willing."
