Teachers of Talented Students Visits the University

" Center of Talent and Creativity is an integral part of your work ",with these words, Prof. Abdulrahman Al Dawood began his reception to the teachers of talented Students from the General Administration of Education in Asir. During their visit, they looked at the programs and services of Talent and Creativity Center.

Al Dawood confirmed that, the university is considered one of the main sources of development in Asir, due to the great responsibility it holds in serving the community. He pointed to that, anyone can be a normal teacher but teacher of talented students needs to have special qualities and double efforts more than others.

He requested in his speech (the teachers of talented students) to communicate with the Center of Talent and Creativity and the file of graduate talented students should send to the University early, like the transmission of certificate , welcoming cooperation with everyone.

From his side, the delegate of talented students' teachers in Asir talked about the history of talent in Asir, discussing the beginning of it as a section in Education Administration ( 1421 AH ), then it became an Administration. After that, Prince Faisal bin Khalid Center for Talented was established in Abha and Talented Center was established in Khamis Mushayt which offer Summer and evening programs.

This visit came in order to know the programs and services of Talent and Creativity Center in the University. It was begun with programs about (The Steps to Obtain a Patent), (Alternative Energy Projects), (New Horizons of Cognitive Creativity) presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al Sisi, and Deputy Dean of and Quality and Medicine College, Dr. Ali bin Saeed Al Qahtani. It was followed by Guided tours to library, laboratories and workshops in College of Engineering, College of Computer Science, e-Learning, and Center of Advanced Materials, as well as a visit to College of Dentistry.
