His Excellency the University President, Professor Abdulrahman Bin Hamid Al-Dawood, on the occasion of the nomination of Prince Murqin bin Abdul Aziz as a Deputy to the Crown Prince and the Swearing of Allegiance to His Royal Highness, stated that the Saudi Citizen has lived a fortunate life under a sort of state which absorbs its rules and regime from Islamic Sharia law and is based on serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors. Its resolutions are derived from the Quran and the Sunnah, so we should obey. The Kingdom couldn’t have withstood the winds of change that have blown in many countries without adopting this path, wise resolutions, and Quranic justice for its people. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, endorsed by Allah, spared no effort in taking care of the nation’s interests in the past and the present at all levels. Moreover, he is a man of insight, looking toward the future and the stability of the country. He pleased us all with the resolution to swear in Prince Muqrin Bin Abdul Aziz as a Deputy to The Crown Prince. This resolution is expected to achieve stability for the nation. The Arab and Islamic World desire stability for the Kingdom, because it is the revelation landing, the premiere Muslim Destination and it has its own political view and economic consideration. All Muslims and Arabs are proud of the Kingdom and its stability. The cohesion of the ruling family is a strong indicator that increases citizens’ confidence and it is an arrow directed at the hearts of enemies who seek to destabilize security, separate us, and the whole Arab and Islamic World. It was, therefore, a wise resolution to issue of the Royal Decree to nominate His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin Bin Abdul Aziz as a Deputy to the Crown Prince. He is regarded as a valve for security. Prince Muqrin has wide administrative and political experience and great knowledge. People know him as a kind father and a decent brother. He obtained many certificates from the Kingdom as well as from abroad and occupied many positions in the state. He has his own way of ruling; kind without weakness, and strong without harshness, so he has captured people’s hearts and satisfaction. We pray to Allah to make you a blessing to this country and achieve what our father, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques-Allah bless him and the Crown Prince- looks forward to. Allah preserves our nation and perpetuates the blessings and security under the wise leadership
