The Faculty of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion represented by the Department of Holy Qur'an Sciences is pleased to announce the inaugural Holy Qur'an Week. The program, titled 'By the Holy Qur'an We Live', runs all week and espouses the virtues of the Holy Qur'an.

Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, Prof. Mohammad Dhafer Al-Shehri, explained that the program will start on the 21^st and continue to the 25^th of Jumādā Al-Awwal. There will be a variety of workshops, seminars, readings, and cultural discussions. The program also features an audio/visual exhibition accompanying the various live participation events.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the world-leader in preserving the Islamic faith. As such, it is our duty and honor to host such programs. King Khalid University is committed to supporting and encouraging all efforts to increase knowledge and awareness of the Holy Qur'an.
