The university's academic agency, represented by the Scholarship Student Administration, organized a trip for 46 scholarship students to perform Umrah and visit Al-Masjid An-Nabawī in Al-Madīnah Al-Munawwarah.

Accompanying the students on the trip was His Excellency Sheikh Saleh Al-Osaimi, member of the Council of Senior Scholars in Saudi Arabia. The students visited the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex to have a look at this great Islamic edifice, which is considered one of the great projects launched by Saudi Arabia to serve Islam and Muslims. After, students went on a tour of the Holy City observing the Kingdom's efforts in serving the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.

Scholarship Students Administration Supervisor, Dr. Saeed Al-Shahrani, confirmed that this trip is part of a series of activities and programs the administration provides for scholarship students with the support and encouragement of His Excellency King Khalid University Rector, Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, and Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Muhammad Du'ajim. At King Khalid University, our scholarship program will focus on building strong ties with our scholarship students before they return home. In turn, the former students can continue to serve as ambassadors for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by nurturing continued collaborative programs. This will continue to enhance the Kingdom's reputation on the world stage.
