King Khalid University - Media Center

As part of a series of scientific and cultural activities organized by the Department of Sharia in Tahama, the Student Activities Unit from the Tahama Sharia Department and the Mohayil Sharia Department organized a number of visits to government bodies and institutions. Notably, the Charitable Association of Mohayil Asir was visited. There, the student activity units formed a voluntary team of students for community service and support. The decision was issued by Dr. Hamza Fayea, Sharia Department Head, and Mr. Badawi Asiri, Charitable Association Director. The activities also included seven research sessions held by members of the faculty from the university. The Saudi Juristic Society at King Khalid University took center stage with their workshop titled "Introduction to the Study of the Hanbali Doctrine" delivered by Dr. Hamdi Abdul Hameed Kushk. The workshop discussed the definition of Islamic schools of thoughts, which highlighted the understanding of laws and evidence in the Holy Quran and Sunnah and proposed a three-level program for Sharia students who plan to study this particular field in detail. At the end, Dr. Hamza Fayea delivered a speech advising students to follow in the footsteps of scholars.
