His Excellency the University Rector, Dr. Falah Al-Solamy, launched a number of new university websites on Monday. The new sites are part and parcel to the iT Departments' digital technology transformation initiative in accord with Vision 2030.

The launching ceremony was attended by the gatekeepers of the Scientific Research Deanship Website, His Excellency, Dr. Saad Al-Amri, Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Practical Research, Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research, Dr. Hamed Al-Qarni, and Advisor to the Deanship of Practical Research, Dr. Amir Mohammed Kessentini.

The portal aims to improve access to information and electronic services provided for deanships, centers, and units. It also seeks to utilize SEO best practices and techniques to enhance the level of connection between the sites and search engines and to publish frequent high-quality Arabic content on the internet.

During the inauguration, Wael Assiri, Assistant General Supervisor of the General Department of Information Technology, thanked Rector Al-Solamy for his continuous support in this initiative that supports the Kingdom's digital transformation vision. He also provided a detailed explanation of the new features included on the websites and the simplicity of its use. Following after, Mr. Kamel presented the first version of the site, which was applied to the website of the Deanship of Scientific Research. He explained the advantages of the new portal, which includes smart device support, the possibility of expanding the home page, agile service request capabilities, enhanced accessibility, and an improved user experience. The ceremony was concluded by His Excellency's approval of the new websites and a pledge by the iT Department to work with the supporting deanships to update their sites and introduce them to the features of the new environment.
