Rector Al-Solamy Visits Disabled Children Association in Abha

His Excellency Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, Rector of King Khalid University, recently visited the Disabled Children Association in Abha (DCA). The Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qasi, and the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education, Dr. Omar Aqeel Alwan, accompanied Dr. Al-Solamy. The Director of the DCA, Mr. Abdullah Al-Moheiseni, and all employees of the association received the visitors.

During his visit to the society, Rector Al-Solamy stressed that the university is keen to support the programs and activities of the DCA, which aims to develop the spirit of social cohesion and communication within these precious segments of society.

It is worth mentioning that the Rector was briefed during his visit on the provision of educational rehabilitation and treatment services for children with disabilities, in addition to the programs adopted to integrate the disabled into society. He also met with the children of the association and toured the educational services provided to them within the centers of the association. In support and recognition of the advanced educational centers offered to children of the DCA, Rector Al-Solamy continued his consultative visit to include the treatment and rehabilitation programs, which include consulting clinics, physiotherapy units, occupational therapy units, speech and dental disorders and psychological care.
