The Rector Audits the Projects of Dhahran Al-Janoub

The Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh Bin Rajaa Allah Al-Solamy, has recently paid a visit to the Dhahran Al-Janoub Province where he audited the projects of the Sciences and Arts College. In his visit, Rector Al-Solamy reviewed the work breakdown structure, the scope, and the work stream in order to ensure that the project will be delivered on time.

The Governor of Dhahran Al-Janoub, His Excellency, Mohammed Falah Al-Qerqah, accompanied the Rector. The delegation also included the University Vice-President for Projects, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Dahem, the Dean of the Sciences and Arts College, Dr. Mesfer Al-Wad’i, the Project Supervisor, Eng. Abdullah Hammoud, the Magistrate Of Dhahran Al-Janoub, Colonel Mehdi Elmejrda, in addition to the Mayor of the Province, Mr. Awad Al-Qahtani.

At the end of his visit, Rector Al-Solamy held a meeting, which took place in the governance headquarters with the Governor of Dhahran Al-Janoub. They discussed the governorate’s educational needs and what the University could provide. Rector Al-Solamy clarified that the University, as a pioneering education institute in the Asir region, takes immensely into account the quality of its educational outputs. The University also looks forward to achieving the Kingdom’s National Vision, in addition to the academic excellence in accordance with planned scientific strategies. Rector Al-Solamy asserted the significant value of the Dhahran Al-Janoub project and stressed adherence to the duration of scheduled deliverables with minimal float.

For his part, the Dean of the Sciences and Arts College, Dr. Mesfer Al-Wad’i confirmed that the college indeed enjoys the complete care and support from HE the Rector. The College seeks to provide a qualified, distinguished educational service. In his speech, Dr. Al-Wad’i further thanked the Rector for his unwavering support and follow-up represented in his continuous visits to the expansion projects for milestone benchmark reviews.

It is worth mentioning that King Khalid University has witnessed remarkable development, inasmuch it is considered one of the largest Saudi Universities, taking into account the number of colleges and students. In details, 70,000 students in 50 colleges are spread over the governorates of the region, including Dhahran Al-Janoub.
