King Khalid University, Media Center

Within the framework of King Khalid University's initiatives offered by the Deanship of e-learning, specifically through the kkux platform, which aims to provide the most important skills for the future jobs with high-quality and universal electronic content that will benefit the community in the areas of job search or skills development, King Khalid University (KKU) starts receiving applications for joining the first entrepreneurial skills from the platform.

The course, entitled "Fundamentals of Start-Up Companies", and is presented by Mr. Mohammed Al-Rikayan, who started his first company in 2003. He has established three companies (Najah, Rizk and Qureiz-Al Majlis) and is currently developing one of the best entrepreneurial programs to transform ideas and passion to successful and sustainable companies.

This course provides beneficiaries with the basics of creating startups (technical and non-technical) for beginners in the world of entrepreneurship in a simplified way for non-business professionals, testing the feasibility of the opportunity, rather than writing a feasibility study.

The recipient of the skill receives, if desired, a certified certificate from King Khalid University at a symbolic price, and PDF files with many exercises. Managing the skill will help the recipient to meet those who have the same interest via networking.

On the other hand, the kkux platform announced the start of receiving applications for the preparatory course "Ielts", presented by Dr. Abdul Raouf Khan and Dr. Daniel Parker. The University holds this course as an academic body, in partnership with the British Council, which is the official body to put the Ielts test. Experts were used to collect the grades that the student needs to move on to the next step in his/her educational journey.

The course includes the official content of the British Council, with its videos and tests covering the four language skills "Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking", taught by two official lab professionals who are accredited by the British Council.

The applicant will also receive a certificate of skill completion, sealed by King Khalid University and the British Council stamps. In addition, the applicant could join a virtual cooperative community that will help in exchanging experiences, as well as receiving PDF files that help in understanding and assimilation, for a symbolic price.

It is noteworthy that the beginning of the registration period in the kkux platform initiatives has been since the inauguration of the Rector of the platform last March, and will continue until the date of launching on 1 May 2017, while the two sessions will continue for one month.
