Rector of King Khalid University, Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy received at his office the Director General of Education in Asir, Jalawi Al Kirkman and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number university Vice-Presidents, colleges' deans, and supportive deanships.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Al Solamy welcomed the Director of Education, stressing the importance of this visit, which promotes cooperation between the two parties, and in order to work in an integrated manner to serve Asir region educational community.

For his part, Dean of Research and Consulting Studies Institute of the University, Dr. Abdul Latif Alhadithi explained that the visit comes from the keenness of both the King Khalid University and public administration for education in Asir region on the positive cooperation and coordination which contributes to the construction of the educational process and its multiple fields. In addition, the cooperation between the two parties aims to raise the level of the teacher and the learner in the stage of preparation and qualification

Dr. Alhadithi added that the researcher of the future program and the importance of taking care of the gifted and how were discussed during the meeting. Moreover, issues that have been discussed during the meeting were the role of the university through the Scientific Research and Deanship of Library Affairs, the role of the university in educating students of education intellectually and behaviorally, in cooperation with the General Directorate for Education, as well as the role assigned to the Deanship of Admission and Registration to educate high school students about acceptance policies, in addition to the Deanship of community service, and the pivotal role of the College of Education in the cooperation Agreement and the exchange of experiences and consultancy in the field of development and the achievement of quality.
