More than 6316 visitors to University outpatient clinics in 3 months

The number of outpatient clinics at King Khalid University has reached more than 6316 visitors within 3 months. In Muharram, the number reached 2120 while in Safar, there were 1755 visitors and 2441 in Rab'e Al Awal.

Clinics Director, Mr. Ayed bin Nasser Asiri explained that the outpatient of the Medical City at King Khalid University is a developed primary health care center which provides primary health care services for employees of King Khalid University, staff, parents, and students with the latest and best global health standards. Clinics have attracted, in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine and health colleges of the university and the Medical City, a group of doctors and nursing staff qualified at the highest levels, and supportive medical cadres, in addition to bringing the latest and best modern medical instruments.

It is noteworthy that the departments of patient follow-up clinics have a selection of professors, consultants, specialists, residents of the faculty of medicine and doctors of the Medical City in various disciplines such as the dermatology clinic, which includes the best consultants in the treatment of skin diseases, family medicine clinic which has a selection of consultants who are experts in the treatment of chronic diseases, obesity, and preventive medicine. In addition, the outpatient clinics include a Clinic for ear, nose and throat diseases which is fully-equipped to examine ear, nose and throat diseases. There is also a clinic for bone and joint diseases, a vaccinations clinic, emergency and vital signs monitoring clinic, a healthy child clinic, an internal medicine clinic, General Medicine clinic, gynecological and pregnancy follow-up clinic with the latest and best devices, dental clinic, in addition to a clinic for psychiatric and neurological diseases
