Launching Tebian project to prevent youth from deviant thought.

Under the patronage of His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solamy, the Deanship of Student Affairs is, in cooperation with the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue, organizing Tebian 2 project. The project whose aim is to prevent youth from extremism, will take place from Monday 23rd to Wednesday 25 / 01 / 1438 AH.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merr'a bin Saad Al-Habash, has explained that the project would provide a variety of training and talk programs which will be directed to all various segments of the community, in general and the campus community in particular. After the project, participants will be able to detect intellectual distractions during dialogue by intelligent and skillful means. The project also aims at the consolidation of dialogue and understanding language while addressing intellectual problems, in addition to discussing all what is displayed on the Internet networks in order to educate the youth, and to prevent them from destructive ideas, in addition to repelling the instigators calls on terrorism. It will also enable the youth to harness their abilities and powers just for the sake of the nation and society. Dr. Al-Habash reported that the program would include training and awareness workshops, seminars, youth dialogues, and scientific lectures, which will be provided by a distinct group of scholars, preachers, and journalists from within the Kingdom. The program will also have several competitions that have been launched for students in the form of short films, infographics, and designs in the area of the project, and there will be prizes.

Dr. Al-Habash called on the community and the students to attend, so as to benefit from these projects that aim at developing moderate thinking, and at fostering the spirit of national belonging.
