Rector approves names of academic complexes for girls students in Abha and Khamis.

His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solmy, has approved the names of the academic complexes for the University girls students. They are as follows: "Academic Complex for Girls students in Abha, and Academic Complex for Girls students in Khamis Mushayt"

This was based on the proposal which has been raised to the Rector by the Vice President of the girls' colleges, Prof. Saad bin Mohammed Dajm, who stressed that the names of the academic complexes should be constant, in all correspondences of the university, in all signboards, and in official publications.

Prof. Dajm added that the naming was appropriate for the current situation with the university girls' colleges, and appropriate in the case of merging any of the girls' colleges in the future.

The Academic Complex for Girls students in Abha includes five colleges for girls, namely: "College of Education, College of Arts, College of Science, College of Management and home economics, and the Community College" The complex includes more than 17,000 students.

Regarding the Academic Complex for Girls students in Khamis Mushayt, it contains four girls' colleges, namely: "Science and Arts College, Community College, College of Applied Medical Sciences, and the School of Nursing." This complex has more than 5000 students.
