The first International Quranic Conference continues its activities.

The first Quranic International Conference, which is being held in the King Khalid University (KKU), continues its activities for the second day. Three scientific sessions were held on the theater of the university and two themes of the conference discussed were the recruitment of Quranic studies in the treatment of political and economic, and social problems.

The first sessions of the second day were held under the chairmanship of Prof. Fahd Al-Roumi, the Associate professor of Quranic Studies at the Department at King Saud University. Speakers displayed their scientific researches, which included a paper on addressing the problem of tyranny in the light of Quranic studies, presented by Mr. Mohammad Maqrawi, while Dr. Abdul Mohsen bin Ahmed presented a paper on the subject of the role of successful leadership in the treatment of intellectual deviation in the light of the Holy Qur'an.

For his part, Dr. Mohamed Bughazalh, discussed "purposes of the Qur'an in the care of public money and its impact in the treatment of financial corruption" In addition, Prof. Abdul Shafi Sheikh presented a paper in which he referred to the problem of desertification and how Quran dealt with it. Dr. Anas Al-Nabulsi, presented another paper entitled "Quranic approach in the treatment of the problem of corruption "

The Second sessions of this day, the fourth in the conference, also discussed the focus of the employment of Koranic studies in addressing social problems. The session was chaired by the President of the Commission on Scientific Signs in the Quran and Sunnah, Dr. Abdullah Al Moslah. In this session, Dr. Mohammed Bouchet presented a scientific paper entitled "Quran Methodology in the treatment of women's problems."In the paper, he highlighted the wife's rights as a model. Next came Prof. Zakir Dembr, who explained in his paper, how to "tackle family breakdown depending on the instructions of the Holy Quran in light of Surat Tahreem," while Prof. Abdel Fattah Khadr talked about "the problem of disobedience and how it is dealt with in the Quran. "Also there was Dr. Ahmed Mansour, who handled the theme "Quranic way in dealing with social media." The paper which concluded the meeting was presented by Prof. Ahmed Hamid. It reviewed the subject of Quranic approach in the treatment of youth's contemporary social problems, using the bad companions as a model to study.
