University looks for activating the partnership with the Commusion for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Commission in Asir Region.

His Excellency, the Rector of King Khalid University (KKU), Prof. Falleh bin Rajaa Allah Al Solmy, has confirmed that the university was ready to cooperate and to provide support for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Asir region in all fields, for the achievement of common goals. This will be in the framework of the existing partnership between the two sides.

Upon receiving today, at his office in the University City, the Director General of the branch of authority in the region, Sheikh Ali Bin Saleh Al-Shamrani, and the official spokesman of the body, Awad Alasmari, His Excellency the Rector confirmed that the university would provide support to the body, in the areas of training, seminars, lectures, workshops, and research projects. The Rector said, "The University with its human experience and variable potential is delighted with the partnership with the Commission, and is ready to provide what the body needs from consulting, to studies, training, and others."

For his part, the Director General of the commission in the region - sheikh Ali bin Saleh Al-Shamrani - stressed that the visit to the University would be reflected positively on activating cooperation and partnership between the two parties, pointing out that the Commission formed a team to coordinate with the university for the activation of the partnership, and that the university would form a team of part. The two parties will come out with a detailed formulation to the mechanism to activate the memorandum, and to benefit from the University experiences, stressing at the same time on the keenness of commissions' of the Kingdom Director-General permanent directives to communicate with the university, and utilize experiences and capabilities in the development of the Commission's work and to conduct scientific studies on everything that may be needed.
