Admission and Registration Deanship of King Khalid University (KKU) has announced the end of the internal transfer period and that the acceptance results of 1000 male and female students who have applied earlier are ready. Requests exceeded 3,500 in number via the portal of the Deanship.
Earlier, everyone was subjected to a sort of electronic competition, and the terms that were approved by the Council of the university and colleges boards were applied, in addition to the standard of each section and by its executive rules.
For his part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Sultan Al-Farah, said that a large number of male and female students had benefited from the transfer period in accordance with the pre-set conditions of competition, which are changing the type of study, which requires obtaining the rate of 3 or more, passing two semesters, and not to exceed six semesters regarding the transfer from enrollment to regularity.
In addition to the terms of the transfer request from Diploma to Bachelor, which are a student must obtain the rate of four or more, and must pass four actual semesters of the diploma plan. According to the transfer from a discipline to another, it is possible only to a one-time transfer from one college to another, and twice between the departments of the college and choosing 3 options through the portal. All requests have been subject to a differentiation in accordance with the cumulative rate and the absorptive capacity of the new department. Dr. Al Farah added, "Unlucky students could apply in the next semester," stressing further that the transfer was done according to numbers from the Council of colleges. Dr. Al Farah confirmed, "Deanship has considered competition and the highest rates."
Dr.Al Farah further pointed out that the results of the internal transfer was 100% electronic and had not been interfered by any human cadre, noting that the deanship keeps its door wide open for those who would like to validate the transfer as well as the possibility of inquiring about the ways and means of social communication.
