Arabic Language Creativity arranges "This is my experiment."

King Khalid University, Media Center

The Creativity Committee of the Arabic Language and its Literature Department at King Khalid University, yesterday organized Osbouha entitled, "This is my experiment" in which a number of faculty members participated. Al osbouha was managed by a faculty member of Arabic Language Department, Dr. Ahmed Altiihani, who initiated Al osbouha with a word in which he welcomed the participants and the guests, providing them with a brief summary of the speakers. He also noted the importance of the Osbouha, which is considered the start of the Commission in its new era.

A number of poetry teaching staff members participated in the event. They include Dr. Ibrahim Abu Talib, Dr. Sadiq Alrebh, Dr. Taher Globe, Dr. Abdul Rahman Mahsna, Dr. Metlak Shaya, in addition to the novelist Dr. Issa Asiri. The poets provided an overview of their beginnings of writing, and their experiences in the field of poetry and novel. It started with Dr. Ibrahim Abu Talib, who spoke about the beginning of his experience with poetry and how he discovered his talent. Then, Dr. Sadiq Alrebh spoke, describing himself as a women satire poet. He confessed that he was described as such during his university study, which witnessed the increase of his interest in poetry and in writings, especially eloquent poetry. After that, Dr. Tahir Globe talked about self-critic and how it does not deliver a poem without the self-critic. He also spoke about reshaping verse obsession, distributing it into two bisects and considering the aesthetic dimension in the whole poem. Next came Dr. Abdul Rahman Mahsna, who spoke to clarify that he argues against those who assume he has little experience, because every poet has his or her own style and experience, and it is not fair to compare him with another poet.

Al osbouha was concluded by a word given by Dr. Metlaq Shaya, who asserted that "the poets Ahmed Behan and Ahmed Al Bahkali, have a great impact on me in my early beginning".
