His Excellency, the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al dawood, headed the first meeting of Supreme Student Committees for the current year. The meeting took place in the University Headquarters at the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merra Al habash, and the representative of students of colleges. At the beginning of the meeting, the President welcomed the visitors, especially the students who represented their colleagues, stressing the importance of the ideas derived from them and from those they represent. The President also stressed the need to open communication channels with the students, which should be highly transparent. He said, "We are working on communication channels at the same meeting, and we are contacting the university officials to find appropriate solutions without the need to depend on other illegal ways."

After that, President Al dawood listened to the students, who passed on their colleagues' messages and complaints in order to find immediate solutions.

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Student Committee is derived from other student committees at the colleges, and the student committee in each college holds regularly its meetings, headed by the Dean of that college, to discuss all issues of concern to the students, in order to be raised at the meeting of the Higher Committee. Colleges' representative present and deliberate these issues on the Supreme Committee.
