The King Khalid University (KKU), represented by the Faculty of Medicine participated with three scientific research papers at the annual World Conference of the American Academy for the Brain and Nerves in Washington. The Participation of the Faculty was under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Neurosurgery Consultant Dr. Adel Al Hazzani, and the Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, the Neurosurgery Consultant Dr. Fawzi Babtain.

In Their turn, the participating students thanked the Rector of King Khalid University and the Dean of Student Affairs for their unwavering support in order to complete participation and to raise high the country's and the university's names in international conferences and forums, as well as appreciating the great benefit realized from such important participation.

It is noteworthy that King Khalid University (KKU) is the only Saudi university that had participated with scientific papers in this global event.
