University bids farewell to the delegations participating in the 26th Gulf visit.

The King Khalid University (KKU) has bid farewell to the delegations which participated in the 26th visit of Gulf students of universities and higher education institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The delegation had spent their visit moving around distinctive touristic and heritage places, which gave them an overview of the Asir region, its history, and its culture.

The visit included going to a number of Asir touristic sites, such as Asir National Park in Al Soda, where they were received by the Committee for Social Development in Al Asmi village. The delegation also visited the University City project in Al Farah, where they watched a presentation of the stages of the project implementation, which is being implemented in 6 stages. After the presentation, there was a detailed explanation regarding the university campus facilities on a maquette for the project. Then, the visitors went on a field trip, which included a visit to the completed facilities in the project. At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed how much they were impressed by what they saw, including the engineering designs for the University City.

After that, the delegations headed to Al-Jarrah Park which is close to University City. From there, they went to Al-Habalah Park, which hosted the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony included some of the interventions of the participating delegations, expressing their happiness with the visit, which stressed the depth of relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
