Vice president of King Khalid University inaugurates the 26th Gulf Countries visit

Deans of students affairs hold their 6th forum

King Khalid University (KKU) has held the 26th reception ceremony of gulf students in the university main campus. The ceremony was attended by Vice president of KKU Prof. Murai bin Hussain Al Qahtani and deans of student affairs in the gulf universities.

The ceremony has started with recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran. Then, the dean of student affairs of KKU Dr. Murai bin Saad Al Habash delivered a speech in which he expressed his delight and welcomed everyone. During the speech, Dr. Murai indicated the importance of such visits and meetings, and their impact on the unity of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, especially in such recent circumstances.

Moreover, the office manager of higher education administration in General Secretariat of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Mr. Muhammad Al Tujiri stressed on that, "this 6th forum of deans of students affairs in gulf countries and 26th Gulf Students' visit, saying that they were only small parts of the programs presented by the secretariat of the higher education institutions in the GCC countries". He also expressed his happiness for visiting Abha and the generous hospitality that he received here in Abha.

After that, a poem was delivered by the poet Abdullah bin Goir Allah Al Qahtani, and this was followed by operetta.

Next, the vice dean of students affairs Dr. Nasser Al Gumishan explained the scheduled activities of the 26th Gulf Students' visit and the landmarks which are planned to be visited in Abha. He clarified that the visit was prepared, planned and arranged by KKU students identifying the working committees.

On the other hand, the deans of students affairs in Saudi universities have held their 6th scientific forum in the scientific council hall in KKU administration building. The meeting was chaired by His excellency, the dean of student affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Murai bin Saad Al Habash. Different topics were discussed by the Deans and the most prominent concerned matters on students of higher education. In conclusion, Dr. Murai expressed his delight of hosting this event - the 6th forum of student affairs deans, and the 26th visit of Gulf students of universities and higher education institutions.
