Dr. Al-Malik visits the University Pavilion at the International Book Fair.

The General Counsel and the General Supervisor for International Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Salem Al-Malik paid a visit to the University Pavilion at the Riyadh International Book Fair.

Dr. Al-Malik praised the discipline of the University team and organizers who are keen on appearing in an appropriate appearance.

The pavilion also was visited by the Dean of Graduate Studies of King Khalid University, Dr. Ali Al Shahrani, and the university Professor of History Dr. Ghethan Grace. They were both briefed on the contents of the pavilion. They praisied the participation of the university in the show and what it offered within.

On his turn, the Dean of Library Affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Saeed Bin Qassim Al-Khalidi Al-Maliki said," the Riyadh International Book Fair represents the biggest cultural event in the Middle East: it attracts the attention of reading fans and lovers, and those who like to own old books in various scientific and academic fields from different versions".

Dr. Al-Maliki explained that the Fair came under the slogan "the book ... Coexistence". The Fair also reflected the fact of the high position of the book, showing that the book, still occupies a high relevance as a means of knowledge transfer. As well, it is still intellectuals' and artists' friend anywhere in the world." He added, "The Riyadh International Book Fair is not just an annual event where publishers and readers gather together, rather it has become a place and a special time for the lovers of reading, of science and of culture.

It is noteworthy that the Fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Information. The purpose of doing that is to develop further a cultural movement in reading, thereby increase the knowledge of the community, and enrich the awareness of the various types of culture, in addition to having a look on the latest books issued by local as well as Arab publishers."
