30 students of the Department of Media and Communication (female section) of the University made a field visit to Abha Radio house. The visit was supervised by the coordinator of Media Department Dr. Iman Asiri. The visitors were received by the Director of the Radio house, Prof. Said Mashhour, who explained to them in detail how to set up and coordinate programs. The Director also gave the visitors an explanation about the workers and what exactly their tasks are. In a meeting during the visit, Mashhour urged the attendees on reading a lot in order to improve their skills, besides diction skills. He also advised the visitors to always use classical Arabic language, and to focus on its tools such as the punctuation and others. Then, Prof Mashhour answered students' questions, and asked some of them to get training on the experience of reading a piece of news in front of others to get comment and clarification. The visit came within the Media Department's plan to train students on fieldwork, and to give them a chance to meet competent and experienced people in the field of Media.
