Closing events of students' first Cultural Olympiad.

The Deputy Dean of Student Affairs of King Khalid University, Dr. Hanan Alqadi, and the Director of the Department of Student Activities, Prof. Omra Al-Qahtani Culminated female winners in the students' first Cultural Olympiad. This was during the closing ceremony to the Olympiad, which was held yesterday (Wednesday 25/2/14346 AH) in the presence of the college deans, Deputy Deans, a number of teaching staff, and other university stakeholders.

The ceremony began with a word from the Deputy of Student Affairs Deanship, Dr. Hanan Alqadi. She said, "We congratulate ourselves on the completion of the first round of the students' Cultural Olympiad at King Khalid University, and we are proud of all talents, potentialities and innovations in various fields that are in our university. It is not enough to offer thanks and gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Hamad Aldawood, who was keen to to get this competition organized to unearth the talents of the students of the university."

She added, "I would like to thank the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Merraa Al-Habash, who had a major role in the success of the event, of course after God."

After that, the winning colleges were honored. In the first place was the Faculty of Science for Girls in Abha, and it carried the University President's shield for Culture and creativity, in addition to a cash prize estimated at SR 10.000. The Faculty of Arts came in the second place, and received a shield and a SR 5.000 cash prize, while The University Center for Girl Students' Studies in Belasmar ( School of Pharmacy) came in the third place.

After that, the winning students' names were announced. In the Holy Quran area, a student - Wejdan Saeed - from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Complex 1 Khamis Mushayt took the first place. In the second place came another student - Bayan Rashid Alhadithi - from the Faculties of Arts and Education in Abha, while the third place winner was Fatma Safi Allah, from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Belkrn. In the Sunnah aspect of the Cultural Olympiad, Salma Mohammed from the Faculty of Arts and Administration in Bisha won the first place prize. And in the second place came Zainab sheriff from the Faculties of Arts and Education in Abha, while third place prize was won by Abeer Amer Saleh from the Faculty of Science for Girls in Abha.

Regarding the cultural competition, the College of Arts and Sciences in Zahran Al-Janoub came in the first place, and in the second place was the University Center for the Girl Students' Studies in Balasamr (School of Pharmacy). The third place was won by the College of Arts and Sciences in Sarah Obeida.

In the recitation area, Waad Hussein Al-Qahtani from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Complex 2 Khamis Mushayt won the first place, and in the second place was Arwa Abdul Rahman Alshehri from the Faculty of Arts and Education in Abha. In the third place was Fawzia Fuad Asiri from the College of Arts & Sciences in Mahayl Asir.

In the recitational operetta area, the Faculty of Science for Girls in Abha came in the first place, and in the second place was the College of Arts & Sciences in Belkrn. The third place winner was the faculties of Arts and Education in Abha. And in classic poetry, Asmaa Nasser Al-Bishi from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Alsamer won the first place, and in the second place was Iman Mohammed Al-Ghamdi from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Alnamas. In third place was Rowan Al-Bishi from the Faculty of Science and Home Economics in Bisha.

In poetry area, Khadija Ali Al Magdua from the literary College of Arts & Sciences, Mahayal Asir won the first place prize, and in the second place was Munira Aoun from the Faculties of Arts and Education in Abha. In the third place was Haya Saad Al-Shehri from the Faculty of Science and Economy in Bisha. In community service area, Nora Ali Saleh from the faculties of Arts & Sciences in Zahran Al-janoub won the first place prize, and the winner of the second place was Rafaa Ayed Mubarak Shahrani from the Faculty of Science for Girls in Abha. A team of students from the College of Computer in Balsamr came in the third place.

In the documentary film area, a team of students from the College of Arts and Sciences in Mahyal Asir won the first place prize, and the second place winner was Amer Shahrani from the College of Arts and Administration in Bisha. In the third place was Amal Falah from the School of Management and Home Economics. In calligraphy area, in the first place was Kadaya Ali Asiri from the College of Nursing at the University Center for Girl Students' Studies in Balsamr, and in the second place was Shamra Mtahs Al-Qahtani from the College of Arts and Sciences in tathleeth, while in the third place was Sarah Dhafer Al-Qarni from the College of Arts and Sciences in Belkrn.

In Plastic drawing aspect, Shatha Khaled Kadah from the College of Medicine in Alsamar came in the first place, and in the second place was Shahd Abdul Aziz Badawi from the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Alsamr. In third place came Sheikha Mohammed Da'jani from the Faculty of Science in Abha. In the aspect of cartoon drawing, the first place was withheld, and in the second place came Fatima Ali Mohamed Asiri from the College of Nursing in Alsamr, while in third place was Bashaier Mohammed Al-Qahtani from the Faculty of Arts and Administration in Bisha. Also in photographing area, Laila Ali Asiri from the College of Arts and Sciences in Mahayal Asir came in the first place, and in the second place was Nora Saif Al Shahrani from Community College for Girls in Khamis Mushayt, with the third place winner being Saadia Mohamed Moussa from the community college in Abha,

In the area of plastic art Photography, Althreya Mohammed Fahma from the Faculty of Science in Abha won the first place prize, and the winner of the second place was Ruba Yahya Ali from the College of Management and Home Economics in Abha. In the third place was Kholood Mohammed from the Faculty of Management and Home Economics. In digital art (designs) area, the first and third places were withheld, while Rana Muhammad Asmari from the Faculty of Management and Home Economics won the second place prize.
