The University Welcomes a Delegation of Businessmen and Businesswomen from Najran Region

King Khalid University recently hosted a delegation of businessmen and businesswomen from the Najran region during a visit aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration and enhancing investment between the university and the business sector. The visit commenced with a meeting between the delegation and His Excellency the University President, Prof. Falleh bin Raja Allah Al-Sulami. Discussions focused on ways to strengthen partnerships in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Asir Region Development Strategy.

His Excellency welcomed the delegation, emphasizing the leading role King Khalid University aims to play in achieving sustainable development and fostering high-quality partnerships. He stated that this visit represents a step towards enhancing integration between the academic and business sectors, serving shared developmental goals, and enriching the university's journey toward excellence and innovation.

He further highlighted the university’s commitment to leveraging its advanced resources and exceptional infrastructure to provide innovative investment solutions and initiatives with a sustainable impact. His Excellency added that this initiative is part of a broader vision to transform knowledge into tangible economic value, strengthen the university's role in driving developmental transformation in the Asir region and the Kingdom as a whole, reflecting the spirit of Vision 2030 and supporting the university's alignment with the regional development strategy, Qimam and Shem, in economic and social advancement.

During their tour of the university campus in Al-Faraa, the delegation explored the advanced infrastructure and specialized capabilities provided by the university in the fields of endowments and investment. They also reviewed the continuous efforts of the Business Center to support entrepreneurship and develop investment solutions that serve the community and align with the university's aspirations.

The visit included a comprehensive presentation of the university's programs and pioneering initiatives designed to promote financial sustainability and diversify income sources. Promising investment opportunities offered by the university in various fields were highlighted, contributing to meeting the region's developmental needs and enhancing opportunities for a shared economy.
