King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs has organized an Awareness Exhibition on the occasion of the activities of the International Anti - Corruption Day. The exhibition's aim is to highlight the university's efforts of protecting integrity and fighting corruption, in collaboration with the National Authority for Combating Corruption, in addition to the inauguration of Integrity Club.

The sponsor of the exhibition, and the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Merrai Saad Al-Habash has stated that corruptive crimes are definitely a scourge on any society, and a danger that threatens the future of nations, as such, "it is mandatory to start eliminating this phenomenon by using all possible ways. Al-Habash point out that the Kingdom has criminalized corruption and has taken the necessary steps to prevent it, and has enacted laws to get rid of it.

Al-Habash reported," The University organizes such activities in order to activate its principal role of spreading awareness of the importance of fighting against corruption to the community. The University's vision is to plant this behavior starting from the Nursery stage." He praised the "Nazaha", integrity Club that - in one aspect of its work - is to raise awareness before punishing the offender, and open all possible communication channels with people to explain the importance of awareness and its effects in reducing what may later arise from unwanted behavior. It is of course within the national strategy to protect integrity and fight against corruption, besides the importance of public awareness.

It is noteworthy that the launch of (Nazaha) Integrity Club of the university last year was a part of spreading self-censorship among students by disseminating a culture of integrity and anti-corruption. Moreover, it could help to organize forums and seminars that strengthen integrity, in addition to workshops so that the student can be engaged in promoting integrity and anti corruption programs. Also, The media awareness programs have important roles to play in spreading awareness within its various means.
