King Khalid University Vice Agency for Business and Knowledge Economy recently
held its annual meeting, in the presence of His Excellency the University President,
Prof. Faleh bin Rajallah Al-Solami.

In his speech during the meeting Al-Solami, stressed the Agency's critical role in
creating knowledge economy strategies, increasing university revenues, encouraging
volunteerism, investing in the university's assets and human capital, forging
successful community partnerships, and promoting entrepreneurship. He then
commended the agency's employees and expressed his hope that the university's
strategic objectives in the field of business knowledge economy will be achieved and
the university would become a major attraction given its assets.

On his part, Prof. Abdulatif bin Ibrahim Al-Hadithi, the University’s Vice President
of the Business and Knowledge Economy Agency, delivered a speech to highlight
some of the agency's accomplishments and those of its affiliated bodies in the year
2022. He affirmed the agency’s ambitious strategy and that statistics from the
previous year proved a clear improvement in achieving the agency's goals.

Al-Hadithi, explained that the business center, which is currently being built in the
university city in Al-Qara'a, will be one of the agency's crucial resources in putting
the university's ambitious strategic plan into action. This plan is in line with the vision
of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 as well as the strategic plans of the Ministry of
Education and Aseer Development Authority.
It is worth noting, that the meeting held witnessed the presence of businessmen and
government departments' directors in Asir.
