Undergraduate and Diploma Programs Admission Dates

The Deanship of Admissions and Registration is pleased to announce the admission dates for the bachelor and diploma degrees for the 1443 AH academic year. Admissions for high school graduates will begin on the 23rd of Dhul Qi’dah and end on the 28th of the same month.

Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Abdulmohsen Algarni, explained that admission would be online. He urge prospective candidates to log into Academia by (clicking here) to complete the registration process.

Algarni, explained that being admitted doesn’t depend on the priority of submission, but rather on the applicant’s overall GPA. The overall GPA is calculated by adding 30% of the cumulative percentage of high school, 50% of the GAT score, and 20% of the Academic Achievement Test. This overall GPA is required for all female academic majors as well as male science majors as for the humanity majors for male students, the overall GPA would be calculated by adding 50% of the cumulative percentage of high school and 50% of the GAT score.

Algarni added that the admission process will be according to the overall GPA and the number of available admissions in each major and that the admission results would be announced on the 30th of Dhul Qi’dah and remaining admissions will be available through the “immediate admission” service. The possibility of changing majors for those with a University ID number will be available through the portal from the 2nd to the 18th of Dhul Hijjah.

Algarni ,stressed “ admission and registration at King Khalid University are completely electronic and take place without any interference, applicants can check the admission requirements, procedures, important dates, and majors by (clicking here) and also (here) .

He added that the minimum percentage for admission will be announced for every major after announcing the results, which will demonstrate transparency and fairness .
