The Deanship of Student Affairs at King Khalid University concluded its summer programs. Those programs were in collaboration with several university entities and colleges. The programs lasted for three months, with thirty initiatives and training courses held under six main programs. Moreover, a total of 2,993 students benefited from them.

Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al Adheed, noted that the summer programs included the Virtual Summer Bootcamp. As well as the programs: Initiative, Development, A Success Story, and My Student is Well, which are a part of Mobaderoon.

Vice Dean, Dr. Fatemah Sha'ban, explained that the Virtual Summer Bootcamp included 12 various entertainment and educational activities that benefited 1,690 students. A Success Story Program included four activities for people with social needs. The total number of people who benefited from them was 943. Five training courses and workshops were held in the "Development" program, which benefited 276 students. The number of female students who benefited from the "My Student is Well" initiative was 84. The program "Initiative", organized by the Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Agency, implemented two free online training courses. They targeted research students and faculty members. The first course, entitled "The Foundations of Writing and Publishing Research Papers", benefitted 747 people from both Saudi Arabia and abroad. The second, entitled "Academic Writing and Publishing", benefitted 4,558 people from both Saudi Arabia and abroad.

It is worth mentioning that the Deanship's summer programs were implemented in collaboration with the University's Agency for Female Student Affairs, the Center of People with Disabilities, the College of Education, the Community College in Abha, the College of Humanities, the College of Sharia and Fundamentals of Religion, the Faculty of Languages ​​and Translation, the College of Business, the College of Nursing in Khamis Mushait, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Mahayel Asir, the College of Science and Arts in Khamis Mushait, and the College of Science and Arts in Dhahran Al-Janoub.
