King Khalid University Rector Inaugurates Cooperation Agreement With the Holy Qur'an Recitation Association

King Khalid University Rector, His Excellency Prof. Falleh R. M. Al-Solamy, sponsored a signing agreement between King Khalid University and the Holy Qur'an Recitation Association on Tuesday in the presence of a number of university vice rectors and college deans in the university reception hall at the main campus. Representing the university in the signing was Vice Rector of Academic Affairs, Dr. Saad Du'ajim. Representing the association was Director, Yahya Faye.


Dean of the Institute of Research and Consultation Studies, Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hadithi, explained that the university aims through the partnership to support the association in the field of education. Of noteworthy mention, the association has recently established an institute to prepare female teachers of the Holy Qur'an and is working on establishing a similar institute to prepare male teachers of the Holy Qur'an. The partnership enables the association to benefit from the university's expertise in aspects of development, quality and leadership in various fields. Moreover, it calls for the supervision of the diplomas of teacher training institutes and the integration of the university's social, cultural and sports facilities.


At the end of the signing ceremony, His Excellency Rector Al-Solamy received a commemorative shield from Director Faye. His Excellency concluded the event by honoring Director Faye and thanking those in attendance for their efforts in serving the Holy Qur'an.
